Three-Dimensional Domed Labels Built to Last
Domed labels are used in many applications from Domestic equipment right through to Engineering, Industrial and Transportation. They offer a much more permanent solution than many other labels and they provide a three-dimensional appearance and do not show wear as the clear polyurethane resin encapsulates and protects the printed area.
The process of manufacturing domed labels starts with the digital or screen printing of a substrate which can be a vinyl right through to more specialist material such as chrome or brushed stainless steel effect and therefore presenting more of an impression of a metal badge without the expense. Once printed, the label is then encapsulated in a clear resin which can either be soft for application to a curved surface or hard for use in Industrial or Transportation applications.
Domed labels are sometimes known as “Gel” or “Bubble” labels.
